Trial date set for man accused of killing Terre Haute officer

Shane Meehan, accused of killing Terre Haute Police Department Detective Greg Ferency in 2021, has been set a trial date of May 10, 2027, at the United States Courthouse in Terre Haute, after a federal judge blocked the death penalty from being sought.
