LINTON, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The Linton Freedom Festival may be cancelled this year due to the pandemic, but the community is coming together in a different way to celebrate.
The Linton Freedom Festival Taskforce has organized a community spirit decorating contest. Businesses and homes in Linton decorated for the holiday.
A group of judges will choose the winning business, but the public can vote on their favorite decorated homes through an online survey. The Linton-Stockton Chamber of Commerce posted a link to the survey on their Facebook page.
Cheryl Hamilton, Executive Director of the Linton-Stockton Chamber of Commerce, says they have had great participation.
