TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A crash left about 30 customers without power for a time in Terre Haute.
The crash occurred at the corner of N. 23rd Street and Chase Street during the noon hour on Monday.
According to Terre Haute Police, a truck struck a utility pole causing it to break in half. Duke Energy has been called to come in and make emergency repairs.

The Duke Energy Outage Map incident report stated that the expected time of restoration was 4:30 p.m., as of 2:30 p.m. the map reported only 8 customers remained without power.
THPD said no injuries occurred in the incident. Terre Haute Fire Department also responded to the scene.
