TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The sounds of Christmas filled Hatfield Hall on the campus of Rose Hulman Sunday afternoon.
The concert band joined the choir, symphony, and jazz ensemble for their annual Christmas concert.
Organizers say it’s an annual favorite on campus with more than 200 students participating this year.
“There are a little over 200 students involved between the four large ensembles we have here,” says Daniel Tryon, Director of Performing Arts at Hatfield Hall. “It’s part of our music minor program that we have out here at Rose as well. We had our fall concert in November and they immediately turned right to doing the holiday classics. It’s fun to do the class music, but also some new to you songs.”
Sunday’s concert was free and open to the public.
