VINCENNES, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Residents in Vincennes will soon have another option for dining, as Wings Etc. is set to enter the town.
Katie Burnworth, the VP of Marketing for Wings Etc. confirmed plans for a Vincennes location. Burnworth said the company is planning to release more information regarding whats to come in January.
Vincennes Mayor Joe Yochum confirmed the business is set to move into the old Hibbett Sports location on the corner of Kimmell and Ford Road near Walmart.
Wings Etc. describes their restaurant as more than a sports bar on their website, preferring to call the buildings “Happiness Centers”.
“A thought leader named Jim Weaver (“The Weave”) and some incredibly insightful partners believed the key to saving the world was building “Happiness Centers” filled with big TVs, great (but simple) food, friendly (but not “have-a-nice-day”-fake-y) service, and lots of cold beverages containing varying percentages of spirits,”
Mayor Yochum also said the business had recently been approved for a liquor license.
