TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Construction of a second Culver’s location on the Vigo County Fair property was briefly delayed due to the storms of late June.
That’s according to Culver’s owner Matt Bilyeu, who said while the storm damage caused a delay to allow for the excavation crew to assist in tree and limb cleanup in the area, the restaurant is still hoping to open sometime in the 4th quarter of this year.
Thursday, a WTWO photographer captured video of the project as it begins to take shape.
The restaurant is located at 3901 U.S. 41 in Terre Haute.
The land is owned by the Wabash Valley Fair Association, Bilyeu has said that the company is excited to be working with the fairgrounds on the project.
Bilyeu also shared with WTWO the following aerial images he captured of the project location during the 2023 Vigo County Fair.
