PARKE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A Parke County K-9 led police to find more than 50 grams of methamphetamine and a handgun during a traffic stop that turned into the arrest of a Rockville man.
According to Parke County Sheriff Jason Frazier, County K-9 officer Thor and his handling deputy were requested to assist at a traffic stop made by a Montezuma Police officer at approximately 5:56 p.m. on Thursday.
The K-9 alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle, which led police to reportedly find 58 grams of methamphetamine, a handgun, and drug paraphernalia.
As a result of the investigation, officers placed Jeremy Orman of Rockville under arrest. Orman was taken to the Parke County Jail and booked on a preliminary charge of level 2 felony dealing methamphetamine.
