BICKNELL, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A food pantry and clothing charity in Bicknell will have more cash with which to assist area residents after a recent donation.
According to Kurt Phegley of the Duke Energy Foundation, the group presented a grant of $3,000 to North Knox Social Ministries Wednesday.
North Knox Social Ministries is based in Bicknell and runs a food pantry as well as clothing charity. Phegley said the funds will be used for food insecurity and clothing needs.
The Knox County United Way assisted the foundation in vetting the grant application.
