TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The 12 Points district is once again bringing more color to the area.
Erin Nicole Studio and 3 Sisters Investments are painting the crosswalks in 12 Points.
The purpose of this project is to make the crosswalks is to make them more visible and safe. This is a temporary tactical urbanization project funded by Indiana Health by Design.
Artist Erin Caldwell said this project is important to keep everyone in the community safe.
“It’s drawing attention so that vehicles as they drive through here hopefully will slow down a little bit. It just all around creates a more safer and it makes it feel like a more loved part of town,” Caldwell said.
The crosswalks are expected to be done by Thursday evening.
