TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Community members have another chance to see a historic aircraft in Terre Haute.
The local Chapter 83 of the Experimental Aircraft Association is presenting the WWII bomber B-25 Mitchel Berlin Express.
The aircraft will be at Hoosier Aviation at the Terre Haute Regional Airport from June 16 -18.
It will be on display, but also available for flights you can purchase.
“Get a chance to share history with people. We get a lot of families that come out that maybe had a family member who served during the war, that maybe flew b-25’s or just during the war effort, had an association with the war, maybe even post-war with aircraft similar to this one, so it’s a real privilege to be able to share that experience with people,” said Matt Cooper, the pilot of the B-25 Mitchell.
You can learn more about booking a flight by visiting the B-25 Mitchell Tour webpage.
