We’re helping Foster Kids in the Valley
Approximately 300 children are currently in out‐of‐home foster care in our 5 county region of Vigo, Vermillion, Clay, Sullivan and Parke counties.
Foster children enter care as a result of abuse, neglect, or abandonment by their parents. Foster parents provide a safe, nurturing, stable, and temporary environment for children who can no longer remain in their own homes. The holidays are tough for foster children as they miss their families and the traditions they may be used to. We are looking for your help to bring some joy to the foster children in our community this holiday season.
