TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WAWV/WTWO) – Happiness Bag of Terre Haute celebrated a long history of educational and recreational programs for individuals with disabilities.
In celebration of half a century, the organization broke ground on a new 2.5 million dollar expansion.
The outdoor recreation center will be moved and expanded from its current location, to provide more space and freedom for members.
Happiness Bag Executive Director Jodi Moan said the expansion will give the organization the opportunity to bring in new members.
“We are very proud and very excited that we are here and that we are able to continue this celebration,” Moan said. ” And to continue providing opportunities for individuals with disabilities in the Wabash Valley.”
