TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Terre Haute shoppers now have an opportunity to visit a new retail store.
Wednesday, Ollie’s Bargain Outlet held their grand opening.
The store is located at the old Toys ‘R’ Us building on the city’s south side.
Ollie’s is one of the largest retailers of closeout items in the country with over 340 stores nationwide.
Staff say shoppers will be able to find merchandise up to 70 percent off of the normal price.
During this time, the store is following guidelines set to limit the spread of COVID-19 but management say they are still excited to open their doors.
“With everything that’s going on around the community, around the country, it’s been very nice to open the doors here and to let people in and have a little bit of that back, that feeling of shopping, and it’s just been very nice,” said Matthew Wallace, Ollie’s Bargain Outlet co-team leader.
Store hours are currently 9 A.M. until 8 P.M, Monday to Saturday.
