TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – A homeless man is accused of raping and beating a woman.
According to court documents, 48-year-old John Davis is accused of beating a woman and then raping her at his campsite on Sunday.
The woman was eventually able to convince Davis to let her go, court documents state.
Davis was arrested Sunday and is in the Vigo County Jail on $50,000 bond.
He faces several charges including rape and domestic battery.
