This after a ransomware attack that occurred over the summer.
According to Commissioner Brendan Kearns, the county is working with a hired contractor and a contractor through insurance to continuously test the system’s security.
They are also working to make sure information is backed up on an extra hard-drive.
Kearns says the system responded well to a recent test which mimicked the impact of the last ransomware, he hopes the county will be better protected from cyber attacks.
