VINCENNES, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Vincennes Police Department reported Friday that acting on a tip that William Richardson, a wanted felon, was at Autumn Ridge apartments along with an apartment number, officers confirmed that Richardson was wanted on an Owen County felony warrant for escape from supervised release. He had originally been arrested for residential burglary.
Officers including K9 Ruckus responded, developing probable cause that Mr. Richardson was inside the apartment. Officers forced entry into the apartment where Richardson was located and taken into custody without incident.
Also inside was a woman, Miranda R. Puckett, who had repeatedly told officers that Richardson was not inside. Puckett was arrested for assisting a criminal, a felony.
Both subjects were transported to the Knox County Jail.
