VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The first-ever graduate of the Vigo County School Corporation’s Vigo Virtual Success Academy is sharing her experience.
It’s a program offered to students in grades 9 through 12.
Students are able to receive virtual courses in core subjects, electives, AP, global languages and career, and technical education.
Graduate Gracey Rollins says it also taught her independence.
“I had to remind myself to do my homework, do four hours a day, get up and do it. I think it really prepared me for college and that next step,” says Rollins.
The students also have a lab and testing space available to them.
