Nov 03 (Field Level Media) – Hornets guard Kon Knueppel is set to make his season debut when Charlotte visits the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday night.
Knueppel has missed Charlotte’s first eight games after sustaining a left hamstring injury during the offseason. He is listed as probable for the game against the Nets.
Knueppel, 21, became the first rookie to lead the NBA in 3-pointers last season when he knocked down 273. He shot 42.5% from long range while averaging 18.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.4 assists.
The 6-foot-6 Knueppel finished second in NBA Rookie of the Year balloting behind former Duke teammate Cooper Flagg of the Dallas Mavericks.
Knueppel was the fourth overall pick of the 2025 draft.
Guard Coby White scored seven points in 16 minutes in Monday’s 124-91 home loss to the Detroit Pistons in his return from a left calf injury. White is listed as probable.
