With your help, we can help support the following programs:
Terre Haute Community Corps Center providing emergency assistance (food, clothing, rent, utilities, employment and education referrals) for Wabash Valley families. The Corps Center manages the Christmas Adopt a Family, Easter Food Bags, and Back to School Supplies.
Food Pantry Network Call Center for Vigo County is a clearing house to efficiently connect families with local food pantries and hot meal locations. The call center provides over 2,700 referrals per year.
Pathway of Hope helps motivated families set goals and make plans for housing, employment, financial stability, education and transportation to break the cycle of generational poverty. The goal is to move from crisis toward increased stability and sufficiency, offering hope with each step.
Embrace – Women’s Support Group is a monthly meeting of a diverse group of women from all age groups and backgrounds. These ladies meet for a new discussion topic – ranging from Embrace Hope, Joy, Peace, etc. – working to trust one another and be vulnerable, even when it’s difficult. Embrace is open to women ages 16 and up.
Emergency Disaster Services quickly mobilizes its officers, employees, volunteers and mobile food trucks wherever needed to provide emergency services to victims and first responders when disaster strikes. The Salvation Army provides counseling, emergency shelter, food, water and financial assistance at crucial moments.
Hidden Falls Camp is the Salvation Army’s 700-acre camp near Bedford, IN which offers art camp, music camp, military camp and character training camp to over 700 at-risk youth, special needs, adults, seniors and youth who may not have experienced nature outside an urban setting.
Addiction Services of Terre Haute offers referrals, resources and transportation for people seeking addiction treatment services that include psychological and vocational counseling and spiritual guidance.
