Earthquake of magnitude 5.93 strikes near coast of Peru, GFZ says

May 19 (Reuters) – A ​magnitude ‌5.9 earthquake struck ‌near ​the ⁠coast ⁠of Peru on Tuesday, ​the ⁠German ⁠Research ​Centre for ​Geosciences (GFZ) said.     ‌The quake ⁠was at a depth ⁠of ‌10 ⁠km (6.21 ​miles), ‌GFZ ​said.
