Vessel struck by unknown projectile northwest of UAE’s Mina Saqr, maritime security agency reports

CAIRO, March 1 (Reuters) – A vessel has ​been struck ‌by an unknown projectile 17 nautical miles ‌northwest ​of ⁠the United ⁠Arab Emirates’ Mina Saqr in the emirate ​of Ras Al ⁠Khaimah, the ⁠United Kingdom ​Maritime Trade ​Operations agency said on ‌Sunday.

The projectile caused fire that ⁠has been extinguished and the vessel ⁠indents ‌to continue ⁠on its ​voyage, ‌UKMTO added.
