TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Cannonball Harley-Davidson and the Terre Haute Humane Society teamed up for the Hogs for Dogs adoption event Saturday.
Several dogs in need of forever homes were able to be adopted at a special rate.
The manager of the humane society said getting these dogs in loving homes isn’t possible unless the community comes together.
“These animals, they don’t ask to be homeless, they don’t ask to come to our facility. And with an organization stepping up and saying, ‘hey why, don’t you come here and will host an adoption event.’ we wouldn’t be able to do what we do,” said Sarah Valentine.
At least three dogs were adopted.
