(Reuters) -United Parcel Service reported a decline in third-quarter profit on Tuesday, as cost cuts failed to offset the hit from President Donald Trump’s changing trade policies and a push to deliver fewer packages for Amazon.com.
The world’s largest parcel delivery firm reported adjusted net income $1.48 billion, or $1.74 per share, for the three months ended September 30, compared with $1.50 billion, or $1.76 per share, a year earlier.
