ELNORA, Ind. WTWO/WAWV)— Students from multiple groups at North Daviess High School are preparing to sell some of their schoolwork at the upcoming White River Valley Antique Association (WRVAA) Show.
According to a news release, students at the high school from multiple different clubs and programs have been working to design and produce unique items for the WRVAA Mercantile. They have been doing so through their student-run business, Fabrication Lab, and Welding Shop, Cougar Creations.
During the show, students will join members of the National Beta Club in selling their handcrafted work to the public. The students will be selling items from large-format printing and custom apparel from Cougar Creations, or practical builds from the Welding Shop or Fabrication Lab. Students will be responsible for managing sales, customer service, and business operations.
The school believes this event is a great opportunity to show the students applying their skills in meaningful and community-driven ways. The show will take place on September 3-6 at State Road 57 in Elnora. The gate fee is $10, but children 14 and under get in free.
