VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A Bloomington man who was seen on a ring camera crashing a vehicle into a Vigo County man before running away naked will appear in court on Monday.
According to court documents, Dustin L. Roecker, 35, of Bloomington, will appear in the Vigo County Courthouse for a pretrial hearing on Monday, October 6.
Roecker has been charged with 11 felony counts, including two accounts of attempted murder, following his arrest in April of 2024.
Ring camera footage from the victim shows the man arriving in his driveway before noticing a red truck, driven by Roecker, following him.
Roecker then allegedly drove directly at the victim, crashing into him and his vehicle. The victim jumped as the truck approached him, firing about 10 shots into the truck.
Roecker, who was naked, then leaped out of the window of his truck before he ran away.
According to police, Roecker then stole a nearby vehicle and led Indiana State Police on a chase. Roecker was eventually caught in Sullivan County.
Roecker will appear in court next on December 8, for his jury trial.
