TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— The Indiana Department of Transportation is hosting a public information meeting on a current Planning and Environmental Linkage (PEL) study.
The PEL study is being done on the U.S. 41 corridor in Vigo County. INDOT hopes the meeting can offer the public an opportunity to provide feedback on the future of the corridor stretching from Harlan Avenue to Haythorne Avenue.
The ProPEL U.S. 41 study is set to be a collaborative, data-driven, and inspired by public input. Throughout the time of the study, INDOT is asking the public to help identify needs and wants for the look of the corridor in the future.
The meeting will be held on September 30 at Terre Haute South Vigo High School, and doors will open at 5 p.m. INDOT will also be livestreaming the meeting for those who cannot make it. You can find access to the livestream here.
