WASHINGTON, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Indiana Department of Homeland Security (IDHS) is offering a $5,000 reward for information regarding a suspected arson at a residence located at 106 Mill Street in Washington.
According to the IDHS, the fire happened in the early morning hours of August 24, 2025. The department said, emergency crews were able to extinguish the fire, and during their investigation, determined the fire was intentionally set.
“The Indiana Department of Homeland Security is urging anyone who may have information related to the incident to come forward,” said the IDHS.

The IDHS said a reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for any information that leads to the conviction of whoever is responsible for the crime. Anyone with that information can contact the Indiana Arson Hotline at 1-800-382-4628.
