TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The average price of gas in Indiana has fallen 6.1 cents per gallon in the last week, but is still 4.5 cents per gallon higher than a year ago, according to GasBuddy.
GasBuddy is an online website and app that tracks gas prices across the United States and Canada.
In their latest price report—which surveyed 3,271 gas stations in Indiana— they found that the average price of gas in Indiana is sitting at about $3.24 per gallon on Tuesday. Prices are, on average, around the same as this time last month.
According to GasBuddy, gas prices in Indiana on Monday were as low as $2.77 per gallon and as high as $3.69, a difference of 92 cents per gallon.
The national average price of gasoline rose 3.4 cents to $3.15 per gallon in the last week, 13.1 cents cheaper than a year ago.
