TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Starting Friday, the Chick-fil-A on U.S. Highway 41 in Terre Haute will close its doors for renovations.
The owner of the restaurant, Kathy McCloy, said this is the store’s first major renovation in 13 years. During the renovations, crews will be working on resurfacing the parking lot and renovating the drive-through to allow for a better traffic flow.
“We had some small renovations in 2020, just more cosmetic stuff to update the look of the building and inside, but this is more structural,” said McCloy. “Just some things that need to happen to better serve our guests and the flow of traffic through the drive-through…. We run an average speed of service here at the restaurant of about 3 and 30 seconds and we do have a long line sometimes cause of the number of people that dine here, but this will allow for more cars to fit through the drive through and just a faster flow on the food delivery side.”
The owner also said there’s no planned time frame for when the project will be completed,
but will update the community on social media.
