KNOX COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Knox County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) said they have a man in custody after deputies found him in the process of cutting fiber optic wire.
On February 11, KCSO said, deputies were dispatched to the 9000 block of East State Road 61 for a suspicious vehicle by a communications tower.
Upon arrival, the sheriff’s office said deputies located a white male, identified as 57-year-old Brian Pinkstaff, in the process of cutting fiber optic wire. Deputies also located cocaine and methamphetamine in Pinkstaff’s pocket.
Pinkstaff was transported to the Knox County Jail where he was charged with four level six felonies including possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine, theft and criminal mischief.
