VINCENNES, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Good Samaritan Hospice will once again host its annual Light Up a Life Ceremony.
This community-wide event is an annual fundraising and candle-lighting service that is held in remembrance of individuals who have passed away and in celebration of those living. The event will take place on Tuesday December 3, at 6 p.m. at the Grand Bankquet Hall in Vincennes (302 Main Street).
Those who contribute a minimum $10 donation will have the name of their loved one read aloud during the ceremony and put on a remembrance banner.
Director of Marketing at Good Samaritan Hospital Tiffany Conover said it’s a way for the community to come together to honor our loved ones.
“Hear the names of the loves ones that have passed away and it’s just a very heart warming and special ceremony for those family members.”
In order to make sure your loved one’s name is placed on the banner you must submit your donation by November 18, by contacting Good Samaritan Hospice at (812) 885-8035.
