TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Swing on in this weekend and next for a musical you won’t want to miss.
United Methodist Church will be performing Tarzan the Musical. Tarzan, the Musical, tells a story of young Tarzan, a shipwrecked baby who is raised by gorillas in West Africa. He has his first encounter with humans, meets Jane, and must choose where he belongs.
The first showings will be November 8 and 9 at 7 p.m. Along with the 10 at 2 p.m. There will also be showings next weekend on November 15 and 16 at 7 p.m. Along with the 17 at 2 p.m.
Some of the cast members say they really enjoy this musical.
“When they first announced Tarzan at the children’s theatre I was like oh my gosh I love this musical, I love the music, it’s such good music. And I really enjoyed belting my heart out on stage,” Kennedy Graham playing as Jane said.
“All the smiles on their faces. Just knowing that we put on a good enough show to make everyone happy and hopefully they can enjoy it,” Colton Baugh playing as Tarzan said.
