TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Terre Haute Bowling Center hosted its 2nd annual Bowl-a-Thon fundraiser Wednesday evening.
Junior Achievement is efforting to raise funds to provide life-changing programs to students throughout the Wabash Valley. This program is a non-profit organization that focuses on providing financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship education to students in the local community.
Those who attended got to enjoy bowling, auctions, a costume contests, raffles, and much more.
District Manager for Junior Achievement Madeline Plant said she looks forward to this event every year.
“This is my second year with Junior Achievement and my second year running this event so I always look forward to this every year. Of course dressing up, but then also you know serving students in the Wabash Valley is my passion as well as our board members and everyone here that’s here supporting. So, we’re all very excited to be here.”
