VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Tuesday evening, Habitat for Humanity donated a building to a local organization.
The Loyal Veterans Battalion group received a building to use as a workspace. This workspace will help the group by giving them space to work on projects like the future veteran homes.
President of Loyal Veterans Battalion Michael Egy said the building is an upgrade for them.
“It’s going to help us immensely. I mean there’s saws, space, there’s racks. They’ve donated all the wood, all the equipment that’s in there,” he said.
The Loyal Veterans Battalion is a group of veterans and non-veterans interested in helping homeless veterans in Vigo County.
