TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Secular Franciscans and Friends of Terre Haute are once again providing the community with an opportunity for a free meal.
On Saturday, July 22nd, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., St. Benedict Soup Kitchen will be serving a free breakfast of biscuits and gravy along with scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, coffee, milk, and juice.
According to an update from the Secular Franciscans and Friends of Terre Haute for the month of June, over 100 people in the community were fed.
“At our first and second Saturday breakfasts, we were able to serve 75 and 114 meals, respectively, for a total of 189,” Sandy Cline with the Secular Franciscans and Friends of Terre Haute said. All are welcome to enjoy their free meal at the St. Benedict Soup Kitchen, located on 9th and Walnut Streets in Terre Haute.
