SHELBURN, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Shelburn residents looking to dispose of old furniture, mattresses, used tires, and even prescription drugs can do so at an upcoming community event.
The event will start at 9 a.m. and be in operation until 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 15, at both the Shelburn Police Department located at 17 W Griffith Street and at Brown’s Tire & Auto Service located at 412 W Mill Street.
Those looking to drop off items for disposal must provide proof of Shelburn residency. Tires can be taken to Brown’s Tire & Auto, while all other items can be brought to the police department for disposal.
“Help us keep our community beautiful. Dumpsters will be available to properly dispose of your unwanted items and safely discard your medications,” the release reads.
