TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A Grammy award-winning artist is bringing his slew of hit singles to Terre Haute this fall.
T-Pain, an artist who has been nominated for a dozen Grammy awards and won two, has also sold 50 million singles, and Spotify lists him as having 11.6 million monthly listeners. According to music charting company Billboard, T-Pain has had 48 songs chart on the Hot 100, with 15 top-10 hit singles, three of which hit the very top of the chart at No. 1.

“T-Pain has not only changed the course of pop, hip-hop, and R&B, but has reshaped the fabric of the culture itself,” a press release reads. “The Tallahassee trailblazer’s influence transcends generations in music and more; he shines as a Twitch phenomenon and uber popular streamer, label head of his own independent Nappy Boy Entertainment, podcast host, expert drift driver, actor, and author.”
Known for songs like “Buy U a Drank”, “I’m Sprung”, “Bartender”, and “I’m N Luv (Wit A Stripper)”, T-pain is also featured on a number of blockbuster chart topping singles like Kanye West’s “Good Life”, R-Kelly’s “I’m a Flirt”, DJ Khaled’s “I’m So Hood”, Chris Brown’s “I’m Sprung”, and The Mill veteran Flo Rida’s “Low”.
Most recently T-Pain released an album of cover songs called “On Top of The Covers” which includes cover versions of songs like Sam Cooke’s “A Change is Gonna Come”, Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin'” and even Black Sabbath’s “War Pigs.,
The concert at The Mill, which is being presented by Indiana State University, is scheduled for Friday, September 22. Tickets go on sale Friday, July 7, online here. General Admission (seats allowed) costs $35, $55 for VIP (seats allowed), and $125 for the VIP Standing Pit.
