TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Terre Haute Parks Department is hiring.
According to the Director of Recreation Sara Turpin, the city is hiring several seasonal workers. Residents looking to join can apply to be a lifeguard, train driver, and concession stand worker among other positions.
Lifeguard training classes are even available for those interested. Turpin says seasonal employees are invited back to help out during other times of the year as well.
“We have our Easter events and our Halloween events and Christmas events, where we always offer hours for our seasonal staff to come back and work for us for those events as well.”
