VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Area residents will have more chances to get vaccinated against COVID-19 with two mobile clinics set to open in Terre Haute.
The Vigo County Health Department announced the locations Friday.
The first will take place at the Dreiser Square Community Center, 115 Dreiser Square. It will be open from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16.
The second will be held in Garfield Towers, 2200 Garfield Ave. It will begin with a presentation as well as a question and answer session starting at 10 a.m. with the vaccination clinic to follow.
The department said walk-ins are welcome, no appointment is necessary. The clinics will remain open beyond the given times should there be individuals still waiting. These clinics will offer both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. The Pfizer shots will be available for those aged 12 and older, while Moderna can go to anyone over the age of 18.
First, second, and booster doses will be available, it is asked that you bring your vaccination card with you if you will be getting a second dose or booster shot.
