MARSHALL, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Hoosiers will have a chance to view live bald eagles and other birds of prey from Jan. 28-30 at Turkey Run’s annual “Eagles in Flight Weekend” while learning about the animals’ behavior.
Events at the state park in Marshall, Ind. will include live birds of prey demonstrations, songbird banding, eagle nest driving tours and an owl prowl. Additionally, there will be an online auction supported by the Friends of Turkey Run and Shades State Parks at this link.
The auction will end at 7:15 p.m. on Jan. 29, and auction bidders do not need to attend the Eagles in Flight Weekend. All proceeds go to supporting the parks.
