TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Ollie’s Canine Campus in Terre Haute, Ind., partnered with Saint Francis K9 Rescue on Thursday to create a safe haven for dogs in need.
Over the past year, Ollie’s said they have saved over 220 dogs. Additionally, 60 of those dogs are still currently up for adoption.
“It’s always been my passion to try to not only educate people, but find homes for dogs that don’t have homes,” ROE Adoption Coordinator Jimmy Matczak said.
The business provides food, water, shelter and health services for the dogs. Health services for these animals include surgeries, spay and neutering and other medical treatments.
The current campus is located inside of Ollie’s on West Honey Creek Drive in Terre Haute. However, a second location is set to open soon, coordinators said.
