VINCENNES, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — New internal medicine residents began the next chapter of their careers Thursday when they received their white coats as part of a ceremony at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Ind.
The ceremony was held to welcome a new class of residents who will train for the next three years at the hospital. The residents come from top medical schools around the world.
Today the residents received their white coats, signifying the end of medical school and the beginning of practicing medicine.
