GREENE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — One person was killed and two others were injured Thursday night in a one-vehicle crash in Greene County.
According to Indiana State Police, Steelie Barbee, 52, of Jasonville, was driving southbound on State Road 59 near County Road 625N when his vehicle left the roadway for an unknown reason. The vehicle traveled 50 yards down an embankment before coming to an abrupt stop.
The Greene County Coroner pronounced Barbee dead at the scene. Two passengers in the vehicle were treated at the scene and released.
