MARTIN COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Indiana State Police reported on Wednesday that it had arrested Ashton V. Pottorff, 24, of Shoals. He was charged with one count of child molesting, a Level 1 Felony.
The investigation began in late December, when ISP became aware of the allegations against Pottorff. Trooper Steve Nolan of the Jasper Post investigated and submitted charging information to the Martin County Prosecutor’s Office. On Monday, Martin County Circuit Court issued a felony warrant for Pottorff’s arrest. Nolan took Pottorff into custody at 10:05 a.m. Wednesday at his residence and transported him to the Martin County Jail, where he is being held without bond.
