WEST TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A housefire Thursday afternoon in West Terre Haute destroyed a home. The family was not at home and the animals inside were removed safely.
Officials say the fire began around 2:30 p.m. Fire could be seen emanating from the attic. Smoke and heat pervaded the edifice.
Sugar Creek, Terre Haute, Honey Creek and Riley fire departments responded to the blaze.
