TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – A local non-profit says it was able to expand its food distribution thanks to community support.
Manna from Seven holds a food distribution every Friday at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Terre Haute.
Thanks to grant money from the United Way of the Wabash Valley and Wabash Valley Community Foundation’s COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund, the non-profit has been able to distribute other essential items as well.
“We’ve also, as a result of the grant, been able to expand what we distribute including toilet paper, personal hygiene items, baby items, baby food, cat and dog food. We’re trying really hard to make sure everyone we serve is well taken care of,” says Susan Seitz, CEO of Manna from Seven.
