The parade, which traveled down Wabash Ave. downtown, included several floats from community organizations and businesses.
The first block of the parade featured a sensory sensitive zone where no music was played and non-edible goodies were handed out. The remainder of the parade featured holiday music and candies tossed out into the crowds.
Organizers and participants say the parade is a great way to bring the community together to kick off the Christmas month.
“It’s such a great community gathering, as big as this gets every year, the crowd is unimaginable; something you usually don’t see in Terre Haute,” said Vigo Co. Councilman Chris Switzer.
Miracle on 7th Street wrapped up at 9 p.m. Saturday.
