TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – A crash with injuries shut down the west bound lanes of Interstate 70 near mile marker 4 Saturday morning, according to Indiana State Police.
ISP Sgt Matt Ames said one person was taken to a hospital in Indianapolis. That person’s injuries were not immediately known.
According to Vigo County 911 dispatch, the crash happened around 6:15 a.m.
ISP troopers were redirecting traffic from the interstate at mile marker 11 to Margaret Avenue and back onto the interstate. Drivers were asked to avoid I-70 west bound.
