CAYUGA, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Police said marijuana was a factor in an crash that caused significant damage to a Cayuga fast food restaurant.
Around 11 p.m. Wednesday, Tyler W. Dickerson, 20, of Cayuga drove a truck into the Burger King building at the McClures Gas Station, according to the Cayuga Marshal’s Office.
After an investigation, officers discovered Dickerson and a passenger, Tania Cox, 21, of Kingman, had smoked marijuana approximately one hour prior to the crash.
Following a field sobriety test and a chemical test, Dickerson was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He was transported to the Vermillion County Jail pending posting of bond.
