TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – City Mayor Duke Bennett confirmed with WTWO News that a tentative agreement is pending in regards to the YMCA pool re-opening.
Mayor Bennett says an announcement will be made tomorrow at 9 a.m. at the YMCA. The agreement is pending the approval of YMCA board.
We initially
reported
in August 2018 that the Y pool would close due to costs.
Negotiations have been ongoing in the months following between the YMCA Pool board and the city of Terre Haute whether the pool would re-open or not.
